KHAN 14 (Silver Mongkhon)

Khan 14 marks the first level of true Mastership in Muay Thai, known as Ajahn (อาจารย์), derived from the Sanskrit term Acariya. This prestigious rank is awarded only to highly dedicated practitioners who demonstrate exceptional knowledge of Muay Thai Boran and have made significant contributions to the growth and spread of the art both nationally and internationally.

Ajahn. Hemanth Kumar

Mr. Hemanth Kumar was awarded the prestigious 14th Khan by the World Muay Thai Federation at the 21st World Muay Thai Championship in Thailand, recognizing his contribution and leadership in developing Muay Thai in India.

KHAN 13 (Red and Silver Mongkhon)

Khan 13, known as Kru Yai (ครูใหญ่), represents a senior level of instruction just below Mastership. Typically attained after three to five years at Khan 12, this rank is awarded to those who meet all requirements and pass the Khan 13 examination. Practitioners wear a red and silver Mongkhon, a red uniform with silver sleeve trim, a red collar with Thai designs, and a silver sash—symbolising their advanced leadership and teaching role in Muay Thai.

At present, there are no coaches in India certified at this level under the Golden Mongkhon system.

KHAN 12 (Red and Yellow Mongkhon)

Khan 12 is recognised as “Kru,” meaning Teacher or Fully Qualified Instructor. At this level, individuals are qualified to teach Muay Thai, guide students, and uphold its traditions and values. Representatives wear a red and yellow Mongkhon, along with a red uniform featuring yellow sleeve trim, a red collar with Thai embellishments, and a yellow sash, symbolising their role as respected instructors.

At present, there are no coaches in India certified at this level under the Golden Mongkhon system.

KHAN 11 (Red-White Mongkhon)

Khan 11 represents an advanced level in Muay Thai, where practitioners step into the role of Puchuay Kru " ผู้ช่วยครู " (Assistant Instructor). At this stage, they wear the red and white Mongkhon and Pra Jiad, along with a red uniform featuring white sleeve trim, a red collar with Thai designs, and a white Pakaoma. This rank reflects leadership, teaching ability, and deep understanding of Muay Thai.

Puchuay Kru. Pavan Kumar

Mr. Pavan Kumar was awarded Khan 11 by the World Muay Thai Federation (WMF), following a recommendation from Golden Mongkhon, recognizing his dedication, coaching excellence, and contribution to the development of Muay Thai in India.
