Leading the Indian Team to International Competitions
In August 2023, Mr. Hemanth Kumar led a six-member Indian team to the Asian Muay Thai Championship in Uzbekistan. This competition provided a valuable platform for Indian athletes to compete against some of the best in the region, gaining experience and exposure.
Following this, Mr. Hemanth also led the Indian team to the 19th World Muay Thai Championship in Thailand. The team’s participation in these prestigious events underscored India’s growing presence in the international Muay Thai community.
Continued Sponsorship and Support
Golden Mongkhon International continued its sponsorship of the World Muay Thai Championship in Thailand. This ongoing support has been instrumental in providing the necessary resources for Indian athletes to compete at their best. In March 2023, the 18th World Muay Thai Championship in Thailand saw Mr. Hemanth Kumar leading a team of 12 Indian athletes. This event marked a significant moment for Muay Thai in India, showcasing the country’s talent on an international stage.
Golden Mongkhon’s Sponsorship
Golden Mongkhon International sponsored the Indian team’s participation, providing essential resources and support. This sponsorship was crucial for the team’s preparation and performance.

2022 to 2023

Mr. Hemanth Kumar was a sole representative for the World Muay Thai Federation (WMF) after Mr. MH Abid and a couple of other people for India, from 2016 to 2018. During this period, he worked tirelessly to promote Muay Thai, organizing events, training sessions, and competitions. His efforts were instrumental in bringing attention to the sport and in establishing a solid foundation for its growth in the country.
