About the G M I

Golden Mongkhon International

Golden Mongkhon International (GMI) is at the forefront of promoting and developing Muay Thai in India. As the organizer of the prestigious Golden Mongkhon Championship, India's premier Pro-Amateur Muay Thai event, GMI has quickly become a cornerstone of the sport since its inception in 2021. Our annual championship, held in June or July, is the largest event for Pro-Amateur fighters in India, drawing participants from across the nation to compete for coveted title belts. This championship also serves as a critical selection event for Indian fighters aiming to represent the country at the World Muay Thai Championship hosted by the World Muay Thai Federation.

GMI is dedicated to fostering the growth of Muay Thai at all levels. Our fourth edition introduced Amateur level events for under-18 fighters, providing a platform for young talent to shine. Beyond our own events, we sanction tournaments hosted by registered and independent promoters, providing referees, judges, and officials to ensure fair and safe competition. We track fighters' performances and offer rankings on our platform, highlighting their achievements and progress.

For promoters looking to host title fights, GMI offers comprehensive support to ensure events are conducted in a safe environment and at a professional standard. Our goal is to help new promoters grow their event business and expand the reach of Muay Thai in India. Join us at GMI as we continue to elevate the sport, support our athletes, and inspire the next generation of Muay Thai champions.
