Official Pro-Am Muay Thai Rankings 2025

The Official Pro-Am Muay Thai Rankings for 2025 represent a clear and structured evaluation of fighter performance in India. At Golden Mongkhon, rankings are not created based on popularity or single-event results. Instead, they are built on long-term performance, consistency, and competitive quality.

For this reason, the 2025 Pro-Am rankings are based on fighter data tracked from January 2023 to December 2025. As a result, only athletes who maintained strong and consistent performances over this period were considered.

Pro-Am Title Belt Framework: 14 Weight Divisions

Golden Mongkhon conducts Pro-Am Title Belt events across 14 different weight divisions. However, not all divisions carry the same level of competition.

Over time, performance analysis has shown that some divisions consistently attract more contenders, tougher matchups, and higher technical standards. Therefore, these divisions naturally become harder places to win and defend a title belt.

The Toughest Pro-Am Weight Divisions in 2025

−57 kg, −60 kg & −63 kg Divisions

Among all Pro-Am categories, the −57 kg, −60 kg, and −63 kg divisions are considered the most competitive and difficult.

These divisions stand out because:

  • They have the highest number of active contenders
  • They feature top-level athletes competing regularly
  • Fighters face short recovery gaps and repeated high-pressure bouts
  • They receive the strongest support and attention from Golden Mongkhon and Muay Thai fans

As a result, holding a Pro-Am title belt in these divisions demands exceptional skill, conditioning, and mental strength.

−66 kg Division: A Unique Situation in 2025

The −66 kg division is generally considered the second toughest category. However, during the 2025 title cycle, this division faced a special challenge.

Only two fighters met the eligibility requirements to compete at the Pro-Am title level. Therefore, Golden Mongkhon provided both athletes with two options:

  • Move to a different weight division, or
  • Receive a full refund

Importantly, both fighters chose to move divisions and continue competing. This decision allowed Golden Mongkhon to maintain ranking standards without lowering competitive expectations.

Weight Divisions Not Ranked for 2025

For the 2025 Indian Pro-Am Muay Thai Rankings, the following divisions will not receive official rankings:

  • −50 kg
  • −66 kg
  • −79 kg
  • −95 kg
  • 95+ kg

Although bouts took place in these categories, the overall performance data from 2023 to 2025 did not meet Golden Mongkhon’s ranking standards. Specifically, these divisions lacked:

  • Sufficient contender depth
  • Consistent competitive activity
  • Sustained high-level match quality

Therefore, to protect the value of the ranking system, these divisions were excluded for 2025.

Officially Ranked Pro-Am Divisions for 2025

As a result of this evaluation process, 9 out of the 14 Pro-Am weight divisions have successfully qualified for official rankings in 2025.

These rankings are based on:

  • Long-term performance tracking
  • Title fight outcomes
  • Quality of opponents
  • Overall consistency across multiple events

Consequently, every ranked fighter has earned their position through measurable results.

Why Golden Mongkhon Rankings Matter

Golden Mongkhon rankings are designed to reflect true competitive merit. Rather than announcing rankings every year by default, the organization applies strict benchmarks.

Because of this approach:

  • Title belts retain their prestige and credibility
  • Rankings remain meaningful and respected
  • Fighters clearly understand what is required to reach the top

In addition, this system helps build a stronger future for Indian Muay Thai by rewarding discipline and long-term commitment.

Moving Forward

The 2025 Pro-Am Rankings set a clear standard for future contenders. Fighters aiming for recognition must demonstrate consistency, adaptability, and readiness to compete against the best athletes in their division.
