India’s Selection Committee Set for Asian Open Muay Thai 2025

Golden Mongkhon International has officially announced the Selection Committee for the 16th WMF Asian Open Muay Thai Championship – India 2025.

The committee will choose the best Indian fighters to represent the country at this prestigious international event. Importantly, the championship will be hosted in India for the first time.

These four respected coaches have already travelled with Team India to World Muay Thai Championships. They helped Indian fighters perform well on the global stage. Not only did they guide athletes to win medals for India, but they also kept them safe throughout the event. Moreover, they have gained deep knowledge of international fighters and teams.

Because of their experience, Golden Mongkhon International has appointed them to this important role. The committee’s job is clear — to select skilled fighters who are ready to compete at the Asian level.

Selection Committee Members

  • Mr. Naveen Ravishankar – Founder, Bengaluru MMA
  • Mr. Lionel Hupping – Founder, Supremacy INDIA
  • Ms. Aditi Dube – Co-Founder, Supremacy INDIA
  • Mr. Pavan Kumar – Head Coach, Combat 24 Club

All four coaches have produced national title champions. They have also supported Indian fighters at past World Muay Thai Championships. Therefore, Golden Mongkhon trusts their judgment and experience.

This temporary committee will work from May 4, 2025, to July 29, 2025. Their task is to ensure a fair and transparent selection process.

Golden Mongkhon International has worked hard to bring the Asian Open to India. The goal is to give hundreds of Indian fighters a chance to compete internationally. Many fighters have missed such chances before due to financial barriers. Now, with this event in India, their dreams can come true.

In conclusion, this committee will help ensure that India sends its best fighters to the Asian Open. We look forward to seeing these athletes make the nation proud.

Stay tuned for more updates on the selection process and championship preparations.
